During my annual checkup last week, I was told that I have an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia). Another reason I cancelled my mammogram last Monday is because I was wearing a heart monitor but I didn\u2019t want to mention it until I knew more. It scared me at first but after an EKG, wearing a heart monitor for a couple of days, followed by an echocardiogram and two visits to a cardiologist, I\u2019m told it\u2019s not life threatening and it\u2019s just something you live with.\u00a0 Sometimes, if I stand up too fast, I may feel a bit light-headed. (at least I can blame it on that) \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0So anyway, things are back to normal and I feel just fine.\u00a0 Imagine having a mammogram with that heart monitor on and they get the results: \u201cMiss Jones, your stress level on the 16<sup>th<\/sup> was dangerously high.\u00a0 You need to make a serious lifestyle change!\u201d\u00a0 Not to worry, it\u2019s all good and I feel fine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cYou have arrhythmia,\u201d said the doctor.\u00a0 \u201cI have what?\u201d\u00a0 I was not expecting that sobering news.
