Our studio was in a high rise building in downtown Chicago and along with much of the staff, I left the building out of fear that we might be next. \u00a0I vividly remember driving back home with a sick feeling in my stomach, knowing that things would never be the same. \u00a0Denis and I watched TV all day and all night, in disbelief. \u00a0My prayers go out to those who lost family and loved ones that day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nine years ago today, we were getting ready to tape two shows. \u00a0I was still at home when I saw what first appeared to be a terrible accident, so I drove in to work. \u00a0Once in the makeup chair, we had the TV on and I soon realized it was much more than an accident.
