{"id":418,"date":"2010-04-28T17:59:55","date_gmt":"2010-04-29T00:59:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jennyjones.com\/myblog\/?p=418"},"modified":"2010-04-28T17:59:55","modified_gmt":"2010-04-29T00:59:55","slug":"lunch-at-the-polo-lounge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jennyjones.com\/myblog\/lunch-at-the-polo-lounge\/","title":{"rendered":"Lunch at the Polo Lounge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jennyjones.com\/myblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/the-beverly-hills-hotel-and-bungalows-default.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-419\" title=\"Beverly Hills Hotel\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jennyjones.com\/myblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/the-beverly-hills-hotel-and-bungalows-default-300x219.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I had lunch today with my attorney and he picked the spot. \u00a0I&#8217;ve never been to the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel and what an experience! \u00a0They only have valet parking so I had to pull up in my dumpy old Lexus into what looked like a scene from a Turner classic movie. \u00a0They had Bentleys, Rolls Royces, a Maybach, and some other shiny cars I didn&#8217;t recognize but one of the dozen or more valets agreed to take my car. \u00a0Inside were the most beautiful people in the most beautiful clothes &#8211; one woman had a fox draped around her shoulders (with the face!!). \u00a0Luckily, I got seated right away so no one could study the $49 skirt I was wearing from Macy&#8217;s.
