{"id":868,"date":"2010-07-09T10:51:44","date_gmt":"2010-07-09T17:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jennyjones.com\/myblog\/?p=868"},"modified":"2010-07-12T16:23:32","modified_gmt":"2010-07-12T23:23:32","slug":"busted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jennyjones.com\/myblog\/busted\/","title":{"rendered":"Busted!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was driving down Ventura Boulevard today when I saw a bicycle coming up in my side view mirror. \u00a0It was going pretty fast and I was a little jealous because he was making better time than I was. \u00a0When I stopped at a red light, he pulled up next to my window and I thought &#8220;This guy is NOT trying to make a move on me! \u00a0Could he be a fan who recognized me and wants an autograph? \u00a0Maybe he&#8217;s lost and needs directions.&#8221; \u00a0Then I saw the badge. He motioned for me to roll down my window. &#8220;I&#8217;m officer Boyles with the LAPD. \u00a0Can I see your drivers license please?&#8221; \u00a0WHAT?? I didn&#8217;t do anything! \u00a0Did I cut him off? \u00a0Did I not make a full stop? \u00a0Was I stopped over the pedestrian line? Maybe my plates were expired. &#8220;Is there any reason you&#8217;re not wearing your seatbelt?&#8221; he said. &#8220;Damn you!&#8221; I said. &#8220;I was just going to Whole Foods.
